We built BluHire because
the system was broken
Too many talented people were being filtered out by algorithms before a human ever read their CV. We built the tools we wish we'd had.
Make the hiring system work for candidates, not against them
Most candidates have no idea why they're not getting interviews. They tweak their CV blindly, apply to hundreds of jobs, and hear nothing. That's not a talent problem — it's an information problem.
BluHire gives candidates the same data and insight that recruiters have. Score your CV, see exactly what's missing, practise the questions that matter, and follow a structured path to an offer.
Built on three principles
Everything we build, write, and ship comes back to these.
We show you the numbers. Your BluScore™ is calculated openly, every dimension is explained, and we never hide what we don't know.
We will never take money from employers to influence our tools, never sell your data, and never pretend a product does something it doesn't.
Every feature we build has to move a real metric: more interviews, higher scores, faster offers. If it doesn't improve outcomes, we don't ship it.
The tools that matter most — BluScore™, SkillMatch™, InterviewSpark™ — are and always will be free. Career acceleration shouldn't be pay-to-play.
We are not a recruiter tool with a candidate-facing UI bolted on. We exist entirely to help you — the candidate — get hired faster.
We hold ourselves to the same standard we ask of our users. If our tools, docs, or support aren't excellent, we haven't done our job.
Meet the founder
Built by someone who's been through the system and decided to fix it.
Untraditional route through apprenticeships, progressing through university achieving a degree. Exposure to global clients and the current job market. Built BluHire to solve the problem most platforms ignore — showing you exactly why you're not landing interviews, and what to do about it.
How we got here
Kieran spots the same fixable mistakes costing candidates interviews after years of exposure to global clients and the job market. Starts building a scoring tool.
Team builds and tests BluScore™ with 200 beta users. Average score improvement after one week: 19 points.
The second free tool ships after users kept asking how to tailor CVs to specific roles. 400 users in the first week.
All six career pathway steps, three free tools, and the premium product catalogue launch. 1,000 active users by end of year.
AI-powered RewritePro™ and MockMaster™ in development. BluHire Pro™ subscription launching. TalentBridge™ employer network in planning.
